Location Data

- Customers: To show products and sellers within your area (2km radius). Your location helps us connect you with local sellers.
- Sellers: To display your shop location to customers and calculate delivery distances. Your location is locked after registration to prevent misuse.
- Delivery Tracking: To help customers track their orders and enable sellers to navigate to delivery addresses.

We use essential cookies to:

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or share your data with advertisers.

- With Customers: Seller business name, address, and contact details are shared for order coordination.
- With Delivery Partners: When applicable, location and order details are shared for delivery.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Note: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Data Security
We implement robust security measures to protect your data:
- Encryption: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt encryption
- Secure Connections: All data transmission uses HTTPS protocol

- Data Minimization: We collect only essential data

Data Retention
- Customer Data: Stored as long as your account is active. You can delete your account anytime from My Profile page.
- Seller Data: Stored as long as your account is active. Business data may be retained for legal compliance. You can delete your account anytime from My Profile page.
- Product Data: Automatically deleted daily at midnight (only for the current day's products).
- Order Data: Retained for transaction records and dispute resolution.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion: Request account deletion and data removal
- Opt-Out: Opt-out of non-essential communications
Children's Privacy
Kohalik Turg is not intended for children under 16 years of age.
